This 3-day safari is a short and affordable way to experience Tanzania’s wildlife and culture. After breakfast in Arusha, you drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives among famous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and many bird species, with a picnic lunch inside the park.
The second day takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, where a full-day game drive across grasslands, forests and lakes searches for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and the rare black rhino. You enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before returning to the rim and your lodge.
On the final morning you visit a traditional Maasai Boma to learn about Maasai customs and daily life, enjoy cultural dances and browse handmade crafts. You are then driven back to Arusha and dropped at your hotel or the airport, ready for your onward journey home.
